Alberto Gonzalez - Attorney General or Lying, Whining, Cry-Baby, Sissy-Boy?

U.S. Attorney General Alberto Gonzalez says he was going to quit his job (take the ball and go home) if he didn't get his way over the search of a Congressman's office. The whole issue was a little bizarre (what isn't these days), but Gonzalez and a few of his fellow Keystone Cops exhibited the silliest behavior of all. This is a democracy Alberto (yeah, we know the President told you otherwise) and in a democracy there are supposed to be checks and balances. So, if Congress says you are wrong, you disagree and wait for the issue to run through the democracy machine. If you get whiny and threaten to quit like a playground sissy-boy, you should be fired.

Gonzalez, whose real job seems to be Defender in Chief for the unconstitutional edicts of the Decider in Chief, recently stated that the press could be prosecuted if they released information about Bush decisions that seem contrary to the laws of the land. Gonzalez basically asserted his right to ignore the First Ammendment, especially if his buddy George stamped a "classified" tag on a story before delivery of the morning edition. It's easy really: break the law, classify your actions, jail a reporter. Life is Good!!!

Hey Gonzo, here's an idea: QUIT! Don't let the scales of justice hit you in the ass on the way out the door. If you can't wait for the democratic process to decide if you are defending the Constitution or trashing it, get out!

Can anyone tell me why the Attorney General post is always such a freak-show? I mean look at the recent list of A.G.s: John "the singing Christian" Ashcroft and the boobies-of-justice, Janet "Wookie" Reno and Whacko Waco, Edwin "porn-hound" Meese III, and of course, the great cross-dressing, dossier hoarding nutcase himself, J. Edgar "bury me in my pink pumps" Hoover. Has anybody checked the Justice Department for lead paint lately?

By the way, in case anyone wonders if I'm biased on the Congressional search thing: if Jefferson is guilty, and it's hard to believe he's not, he should be jailed. If the search was illegal, the stuff the FBI took should be returned. If the search was legal, the FBI should high-tail it to Delay and Ney's office before the shredders finish the job. Oh, and somebody should search the White House for a brain.
