Dell Poo
Below is a post I left on the Dell Direct2Dell Blog. I'm sure it will be removed, but let's see if I can get a Dell executive to return a phone call.
Maybe you can help me out with something. A few weeks ago I had the usual terrible customer service experience with Dell Bangalore. I was trying to buy a computer and they wouldn't let me do it because their system couldn't separate an old Dell account that I had canceled from a new one that was open and ready to be used. They had also somehow managed to change my mother's maiden name to my last name, further confusing the login process. As usual, the customer service people were rude and caustic, while demanding that I be "professional."
Finally, I managed to call Dell corporate and get the cell phone number of Mr. Parra, a senior V.P. in the home and business group. I called and left him a message, but he didn't call me back. Now, that's rude! I simply wanted to know why I should continue dealing with a company that made it such a painful experience for me to spend money on their products.
Now, before you go into admin panic, I have no intention of posting the man's phone number here. I also fully realize that this post will be deleted. All I ask is that someone pass the word along that I would like a call back. Corporations continue to make it really hard to get hold of anyone in charge. It's no wonder that the people at the top don't know what's going on. When are they going to learn that trying to hide from your customers and stick your head in the sand does not actually equal providing good customer service?
Please, ask Mr. Rosendo G. Parra to give me a call. Thanks. (full name used for search purposes)
Note: The comment was modded off the Direct2Dell site, as expected.

Hey, Any chance you could share this individuals (Parra) contact details with me privately as I need to speak with him urgently and it is next to impossible to get the correct contact details. Not to mention the useless agents in the Banglore office!!
I'll have to see if I can still find it. If so, I'll ask you to send me an email address to send it to. So far, I still haven't gotten a call back.
