PERM Fake Job Ads defraud Americans to secure green cards for foreign workers

Here it is, video proof that the H1-B program that brings guest workers in to replace qualified American workers is a completely sham. Just listen to the way these arrogant lawyers describe to clients how to skirt the law. Either these people have been doing an excellent job of lying to Congress, or Congress is just as corrupt as the slimeballs at Cohen & Grigsby. Note that if you click the link to their "seminar," the videos have been pulled. Gee, I wonder why!?

In addition to this wonderful program, it appears that there may also be call centers, staffed by Indian employees, calling people who have posted resumes on job sites and offering them IT jobs that they would never take. I personally know one person who has received four calls in the last two days for jobs that she would never take because they are not in her area of expertise, pay far less than she is currently making, or are located hundreds of miles from her home. Of course, as soon as they get enough Americans to turn down the job, they can then say that it must be filled by an H1-B. I listened to one of the calls, and you can clearly hear the call center chatter in the background.

The H1-B program is completely corrupt and needs to be discontinued. Please write to your Congressional reps and protest this program now!

Another Open Letter to Congress

Please explain to me why I should believe that anyone in Congress has any concern for American workers. On the Democratic side there is a push for 12 million cheap laborers and H1-B programs to bring in hundreds of thousands more. These illegal and indentured workers will take jobs from poor Americans and well-qualified, educated middle-class Americans. On the Republican side, there is a promise to defeat any legislation that makes it easier for the workers to unionize and bargain for fair wages and benefits. Do any of you in Congress see the very clear message that this sends? I doubt it, so let me clarify it for you: You do not care one little bit about the average American worker.

If you are a Republican, I would like to hear why you are so afraid of the American worker being paid fairly. And, please don't tell me that they are, since the disparity between a CEOs compensation and that of his/her workers is at the highest level in history. The rich get richer and the middle-class gets laid off or they are burdened by compensation cuts. Concessions are made by workers, not by executives. Tax cuts are given with the promise of more jobs, but the jobs pay so little that many Americans have left the work force, providing a falsely low unemployment rate.

If you are a Democrat, the supposed defenders of the American worker, please explain to me why your Democratically controlled Congress increased the minimum wage and then turned around and tried to import cheap labor that is not even covered under most labor laws. Please tell me why you want to allow 12 million workers to remain in the country who take jobs away from Americans who would gladly do those same jobs. There is ample evidence that lesser skilled Americans and those whose manufacturing jobs were sent overseas would be more than happy to do these jobs at a lawful and fair wage. Explain why you continue to support H1-B programs that put well qualified and educated workers out of a job in order to replace them with cheaper workers whose employment does nothing but drive down wages and benefits for middle-class Americans.

Very few Americans actually believe that Congress has any intention of using the money that the President wants for border security. Most don't even think he is sincere in wanting border security. We know from past performance that Congress is very capable of diverting funds from projects it does not want to complete. Look at education; during an election year it is top priority for funding, but after the election it's the first thing cut!

What Americans want are representatives who represent us, we the people! We want you to create jobs for us, provide fair compensation for us, and stop working exclusively for the rich and for illegal immigrants. Is that really too much to ask?

More Congressional Poo

'Senator Arlen Specter, a Pennsylvania Republican, said that Bush's endorsement of the security fund ``could break the logjam'' preventing Senate action on the legislation because ``it will give the American people confidence'' that border security will be tightened.'

I hate to sound negative, but this does NOTHING and provides no confidence! Our elected leaders have no more political capital. They have lied time and time again. They support big business over jobs for Americans, they price education out of reach, and they pass laws that allow credit companies to rip us off at will. They continue to allow depression of wages and benefits while rewarding the greedy rich with more money at the expense of the average American. Now, because they have alienated the American people, they need cheap labor and new voters so they can continue the destruction of America.

If Congress wants my trust on any part of this issue, they should eliminate H1-B programs, hire Americans FIRST, and secure the border (not just "fund" the work) before any guest worker program goes into effect. Actions speak louder than words and this Congress has been blown more than enough hot air in the faces of the American people.

Skinny Poo

I'm not sure who that is in this picture. Maybe the stars of the new movie, The Grudge III - When Twigs Attack? The cover of a new video game, Fear II, in which the scary little girl can finally be killed by cakes and cookies? For you literary folks, maybe it's an illustration for The Monkey's Paw Diet or Why You Should Not Bury Your Girlfriend in The Pet Cemetary?

Sadly, this is a picture of the obviously anorexic Olsen Twins. The thought that these famine victims are role models to young girls make me want to puke and binge on more nutritionally useless celebrity poo. There's a rumor going around that these stick figures are actually trying to market a "health and nutrition" show aimed at 4 and 5 year olds. Isn't there some law against the undead giving advice to the living, especially living children?

The Olsen Twits remind me of a recent cover I saw on celeb rag Us Magazine encouraging women to imitate their favorite dietarily challenged celebrity by going anorexic as revenge on men who broke up with them. This is called The Revenge Diet. Yes folks, malnutrition really does effect mental capabilities. I can see the ex-beau now, all broken up because he didn't stick around long enough to see his girl succumb to anemia, bone loss, and eventual premature death. Yeah, that's what I call revenge!

No Chinese Please

This article pretty much says all you need to know. Do not buy consumable Chinese products and write to Congress and demand that all food products be labeled with the country of origin.

China Rejects US Health Warning on Toothpaste

03 June 2007

China is rejecting a U.S. government warning about Chinese-made toothpaste that contains a potentially poisonous chemical commonly used in antifreeze.

China's General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine says the advisory from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration is unscientific and irresponsible.

China says low-levels of the chemical, diethylene glycol, have been approved for consumption. It also says the U.S. food regulator has approved all Chinese-made toothpaste exported to the United States.

On Friday, the U.S. government warned consumers to avoid using toothpaste made in China after the FDA found diethylene glycol, or DEG, in a shipment seized at the border and in two U.S. retail stores.

The FDA said it is not aware of any reports of poisoning from the toothpaste, but that it is concerned about sick people and children being exposed to the chemical.

The FDA has been scrutinizing toothpaste imported from China after similar products containing the chemical killed or sickened users in Latin America.
